Permit

Permit are another difficult fish to catch on the flats. Unlike fishing for permit on the wrecks offshore, flats fishing for permit is 100% visual and involves using all of your skills. Having the opportunity to sight cast to these fish is an awesome experience. Watching these fish take off in three feet or less of water is an indescribable sight! Permit can be caught on both spinning gear and fly fishing gear.
